This is weird...

...really, really, REALLY weird. Even for the City.

[Hanna sounds confused, before shouting out loudly into the device, since loud is always better.]

Seriously, where is everybody? I go to take the garbage out...and all the plants are gone too...so are Iznagi and Lassie and the kids...

It's...really, really creepy. If there's anybody out there, just shout! The aloneness is really sort of scary. In a mental way.

Believe me, I would love better eyes. I'd love better lots of things...but I just worry about the consequences, that's all.

Lots of people do it where I come from. One of my jobs as an AI on Citadel Station was to make the machines that cyberized people when they got really hurt, or sick, or just wanted something better. And I can't screw up memories -- hard drive brain, right? -- so I remember how to do it perfectly. Nothing goes wrong.
