[There's a party today in Xanadu! It's the day before Euphie's 18th birthday, and in an effort to avoid any sort of bad curse, Hanna's throwing her party on Sunday.

There are big picnic tables set up with all sorts of snacks and treats. One table is devoted to desserts, especially the big birthday cake. Hanna even managed to pull through and make cookies, despite his overall inability to cook or bake.

There's music, and speakers, and a myriad of decorations, including balloons, paper lanterns, streamers, and confetti. Hanna's spent the good part of the past week planning this party.
The grill is set up, and the present table is ready as well. Hanna himself is lounging in one of the chairs, a large box in his lap. Every so often, the box moves a bit, and Hanna smiles and sticks a finger through the hole in the top of the box.

Yep. Everything is set for one awesome party.]

[ Rolls up her sleeves, except she doesn't have any so it's more of a show, and cracks her knuckles. ] What do you want to see?

I do. [And hopefully her roommates won't mind! They were good about her having Ken's pets for awhile. And Tumbles is just a puppy! Who could not love a puppy.]

I think he's happy to be out of that box.

I could write down directions for the super-basic things? Trust me, Hanna, I've showed some pretty cooking-hostile people how to at least work an microwave and an oven, and those're the most important things.

And if all else fails? I promise I can hook you up with food. No going hungry, got it?

Nah, I'm eating, promise. I can do some real simple stuff, but...well, I'm just sort of really bad at a lot of things. Heh.

[Yuri's actually pretty retarded with dates, so he doesn't expect a party. Especially for Euphie. But hey- he's in Xanadu everyday. While he's here, he may as well celebrate. And give her his present later.

-He can set aside what happened a few days ago for now. It's her special day.

[She is playing with her new puppy, Tumbles, when she catches sight of Yuri. She's... She's happy to see him, but she's nervous too. They haven't talked since the curse.

After a moment she waves to him, offering a smile.]

[She smiles even if it goes unseen.] Well, it's my birthday. I'm not sure that makes me popular. I'm glad you came, Toph.

It's so nice just to have a curse-free day! I've never seen a block of curses that long before. [She doesn't really count snow.]

My actual birthday is tomorrow. I'll be 18. We just thought a weekend party might be better.

[Zuko arrives roughly thirty minutes after Hanna's all finished setting up. He doesn't have anything for Euphie except himself. But even he thinks that's not enough.

Spotting Hanna lounging, he heads in his direction, eying the box on his lap.]

...Not bad.

[ When Flynn arrives, he's carrying a small box. He looks every bit as if he'd prepared for this occasion, but in truth, he'd been going around the city looking for a proper gift just an hour so before.

He hopes Euphemia doesn't notice though. At least, so that he could properly apologize for not having been sufficiently prepared... ]
