You know, I gotta admit, the halo and wings look? Nooot really my thing.

I mean, yeah, I'd rather have that than the devil horns and pointy demon tail, but still. Wings are really inconvenient! They keep getting in the way when going through doors and stuff...

...buuut at least I feel better now. Why I'm an angel, dunno. Sort of ironic.

SO ANYWAY.

I've got this feeling...I mean, the City wouldn't start aligning people to the ultimate definitions of good and bad if they didn't have a reason...

...Well, whatever's coming, I'm prepared. You can't trip me up, City, I know that you're up to something less than good. And I'll fight you every step of the way!

Also, I've decided I'm being Batman for Halloween. And it will be awesome.

Well, they get in the way of doors...and they're pointy. Didn't see that coming.

Okay...where are you? I jus' woke up. Haven't been payin' attention. [From passing out on his desk after staying up for two days, yeah.]

I'm at home...I sort of slept all of yesterday, so I just figuredo ut something was weird...

Okay, I'll come an' 'ave a look. Buildin's mostly empty for some reason anyway...

[Action]
It takes a little bit because Chris makes a pot of tea and drinks a cup before leaving but eventually, he knocks at Hanna's door. Because he's actually fairly interested.

[When Hanna opens the door, he's still looking a bit ill, but he's better than he was on Saturday. He waves. He's got a large pair of white wins and a small, glowing halo, but he's basically the same.]

'lo!

[Chris blinks, and stares at him.]

Blimey! Y'really are properly an angel!

Well, I feel the same, apart from the wings...

[He laughs a bit.]

[Chris whistles in amazement, and then remembers.]

Oh, yeah, an' how are they pointy?

The ends. Go on, touch em and see!

[Chris hesitates and then walks over to prod carefully at the ends of Hanna's wings.] Huh.

I don't know why they're like that...maybe its a built in stabby thing?

Maybe...but y'don't exactly read about angels goin' about stabbin' folk with their wings.

True...but I got this weird feeling that something is gonna happen that might actually require that.

So 'ave you been practicing?

Not wing stabbing...but I have been doing extra magic practice.

Does bein' an angel help that any?

Makes the bigger stuff hurt less.

Only less, yeah...but that's the nature of the magic, so.

Magic's MEANT t'be painful?
