[A small, slightly chubby redheaded child is standing outside of a flowershop, clutching an orange balloon as if it was his lifeline. He appears to be about 5 years old, maybe even a bit younger, but is in actuality 7. His glasses are missing, and he's a bit more freckly than he will be when he grows up, but even as a kid, he's still recognizable.

This is Hanna Cross, and he is lost.
One minute, he was with his mother in the park...and then he wandered off for a second and ended up in a strange place.

And he's scared.]

M...mu...Mommy...?

Mommy, where'd you go...?

[Hanna sniffles a bit, clutching his balloon tighter, rubbing at one of his eyes as he starts to cry.]

I du-dunno where I am...I w...wuhanna go hooome...

[Still crying and still very lost, Hanna runs off, scared, looking for his mom, before, in frustration, he returns to the front of the flower shop, kicking the wall before slumping down and crying into his knees.]

I want Mom...

[ooc: Hanna Cross, age 7!! He's a bit...healthier looking than he is as an adult, and remembers nothing of his time in the City or the people he knows as an adult. He can't do magic (at least not purposeful magic) and he can't investigate the paranormal, but he can still get into trouble. Since we don't know much about Hanna as a kid, I'm just gonna wing it as best as possible. Good luck, City, he's your problem now!!]

So, big Gallahad, where are we exactly?

We're in a place called The City. It's pretty big, so it would probably be a good idea to stick together, all right?

[He nods and moves to stand next to Gallahad, holding his hand.]

Hey, Big Gallahad? How come you're green?

[He returns the hand-hold and leads Hanna into the flower shop.]

Well, I died a long time ago. But I came back, and now I look like this.

Ohhh...that's cool. Is that why you can't remember stuff?

[He's taking this pretty well, all things considered.]

Does this mean that you eat brains? Or a brain substitute? Cuz you seem like a nice zombie.

I assume that's why, yes.

I don't need to eat anything, actually. I've tried before, but it doesn't really work.

What kind of flowers do you think your mom will like?

Really? Wow, that's neat. But don't you miss foods, like ice cream or chocolate?

[He frowns in though, before nodding.]

I know!! Mom likes poppies and posies and lilacs. Dad makes sure we always have them around cuz she likes them so much.

I don't really remember how they taste, so there's not much to miss.

Those are all nice flowers. Let's get some of each. I'm sure my boss won't mind.

Oh...

[Little Hanna frowns for a second, before nodding.]

Well, then I could eat enough for 2, so you don't miss it!!

Where is your boss?

That would be nice. As long as you don't get sick.

He's... gone for the weekend. Preoccupied with something.

I won't! Dad says I got a stomach of steel.

Oh...do you miss him?

[Oh, but easily distracted!! Hanna sees some flowers that he thinks his mom would like.]

Look!! They got lilacs!!

That's good. I believe him.

Yeah, I do. But it's okay, I know he'll be back soon.

[He looks up and picks up the little vase with lilacs on the shelf.]

Let's see... Poppies and posies too, right?

Oh, ok!

Yep! She also likes daffodils, but they don't go well with the others...she likes gardening.
