...I really need to practice swimming more often. But not for a good, long while...I don't think I can look at a big body of water without getting seasick and angry right now. Ugh. Too...much...water...

...Well, at least the kids are okay. They seemed to enjoy the boat ride until things got significantly less fun, but they're all okay, Little Sam is okay...and I somehow didn't drown! That's sort of awesome. Great way to start off my favorite month, by not dying. Hope I can keep that record up...or down...or whatever.

...er. Anyway. Happy October!! We only have 30 days to get ready for Halloween! Should I dress up this year...

And, and, on October 5th, the puppies celebrate their 2 month birthday!! In all the books I've been reading, this marks the period where they can start to be taken to new permanent homes...I'm not sure if I'm 100% ready for that yet, but I guess I should start letting interested people come take a look and stuff.

Well...they do require a lot of space and food. [And you can't even get yourself a sweater.]

Gee, it's gonna feel weirdly empty once they go off...well, Little Sam is staying here, and of course I got Lassie and Iznagi...though Lassie still doesn't really like me...

[She's afraid you'd go without if you were always taking care of all of them. You know, like missing a boat.]

I'm sure people will still let you visit them, Hanna.

Lassie doesn't like you? [Sounds surprised.]

I hope so...but as long as the kids are happy, it's okay.

[Well, you're hitting the nail right on the head there. You haven't seen his fridge lately. Nothing but microwavable stuff, leftovers, frozen food...]

I knoW!! She's never liked me, but she's gotten better since the kids showed up.

[She needs to invite him over for dinner...a lot apparently. ~~He weighs less than her hair.~~]

I'm glad it's better at least.

[~~Well, he IS a rotten hollow shell of a boy...~~ And he can't really cook, either.]

Yeah. Who knows, someday she might like me!!

[~~S-sob.~~ Neither can she, but she wouldn't subject him to that. This is why she has a Lelouch.]

[Hanna will be right over, but he's gotta stop over at his flower shop to grab something for Euphie.]

[She's fussing around a little in the Welcome Center, mostly just watching for Hanna.]

[Hanna shows up with a grin on his face and a flower in his hand for Euphie. Consider it his way of saying sorry for not getting on the boat.]

Hi!!

Hanna! [You are so getting a hug. A nice big, tight hug if you let her. It's not even for the flower which is very sweet. She's just glad you're okay.]

Hee, it's good to see you too, Euphie!

[He smiles a bit and hugs her back. No matter what he says, he really was worried when he saw the ship go down.]

[She'll make it a nice long hug before letting him go. She's glad he's warm. Not city!dead.] I'm just glad you're really all right. [You're the second friend she's had to hug after worrying they might have died in the last month.]

[He smiles at her again. She's okay, and that's all that really matters.]

I'm glad you're all right...here, I brought you this.

[He smiles and hands her the flower, a tiger lily. Orange is his favorite color, ya know.]

[It's one of hers too, though purple is her favorite. She's actually wearing an orange skirt today.]

Oh, Hanna, it's beautiful. [She takes it and looks at it and then back up to him fondly.] Thank you.

[Oh, and this would be the part where she leans back in to kiss his cheek.]

[Hanna blushes slightly, grinning back at Euphie.]

You're welcome...I'm really glad you like it...

I do. It's the second nicest thing you've given me today.

[He blushes again, still smiling.]

[That just makes him grin a huge grin, face bright red, and he pulls her into a tight hug.]

I'm really, really glad you're okay.

[She's a little surprised, but she hugs him back for as long as he wants.] I didn't know you'd be so worried.

I was more shocked at first...then I was worried.

But we're all okay now, yeah? No more worrying?

That's a good idea. No more worrying.

Aaand worrying done!!

[Hanna grins and makes a 'poofing' hand motion.]
