Case 108

...I really need to practice swimming more often. But not for a good, long while...I don't think I can look at a big body of water without getting seasick and angry right now. Ugh. Too...much...water...

...Well, at least the kids are okay. They seemed to enjoy the boat ride until things got significantly less fun, but they're all okay, Little Sam is okay...and I somehow didn't drown! That's sort of awesome. Great way to start off my favorite month, by not dying. Hope I can keep that record up...or down...or whatever.

...er. Anyway. Happy October!! We only have 30 days to get ready for Halloween! Should I dress up this year...

And, and, on October 5th, the puppies celebrate their 2 month birthday!! In all the books I've been reading, this marks the period where they can start to be taken to new permanent homes...I'm not sure if I'm 100% ready for that yet, but I guess I should start letting interested people come take a look and stuff.

...soo...uh...until it sank, was the boat nice?

But I want to...friends do that sort of thing, right?

You weren't on it either? And yeah, I think nobody got hurt.

Well, long as you want to...

Yeah, me an' Ray was on the police buildin' until the rainbows came out.

I do!!

I was on top of my apartment.

Didn't need t'be in the end, I s'pose.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-10-01 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, really. I was worried they might literally drown everybody who couldn't get on the boat!

[identity profile] justcautious.livejournal.com 2010-10-01 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't think there's enough water t'reach the top of the really tall buildings in th'City.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-10-01 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I know, but it was still a looooad of water.

[identity profile] justcautious.livejournal.com 2010-10-01 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I 'aven't seen rain pelt down like that for ages.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-10-02 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
I'd say it was nice, except it was a bit too much...

[identity profile] justcautious.livejournal.com 2010-10-02 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
Weren't that bad--long as no one drowned, mind.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-10-02 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think anybody did...though the plants may be a bit over-watered.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-10-02 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. They get all brown and wilty.

[identity profile] justcautious.livejournal.com 2010-10-02 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
You do work at a flower shop, so I reckon you'd know. But too much?

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-10-02 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Believe me, it can be just as bad for certain kinds of plants. Like ones that store water, like cacti, you could drown them. They store a lot of water in them, so put too much, they get sick!

[identity profile] justcautious.livejournal.com 2010-10-02 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
Sort of...plant 'angovers?

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-10-02 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
Heh, kinda!!
