Case 168 [Video]

[Some time after Chris's post, Hanna and his fellow wagoneers, Chris, Nathan, Sam, and co, are taking a break. The oxen need a break, and they're gonna go foraging...

Hanna, meanwhile, is hanging out off the back of the wagon, trying to do tricks with his yoyo.]

Augh, I can't get this stupid thing!! Up and down is one thing...tricks are something else, though! I have no idea how people learn how to do these fancy tricks...

[He sighs, puts the yoyo away, before getting up.]

Okay, bored now!

Hey, Chris, you think there's water nearby? We should refill the canteens, and since we're still taking a break, we should go fish! We could sell them at the next trading post, maybe!!

...My red shoes didn't fit. I'm only slightly offended, though.

So, HA! Take that, City! Take that, deities! I slipped through with the power of loopholes, woo!! Too bad, though. The shoes were sort of pretty...even if I do believe them to be rather evil in their own, shoe-like way.

...Great, this place is finally starting to make me paranoid. Ah well, had to happen eventually!!

So, Chris, did you talk to your roommate about maybe possibly taking Jareth in? He really did like you...also, he's actually one of the bigger puppies out of the whole litter, and with them all growing bigger at once, I'm afraid he's gonna get sort of overcrowded, if that even makes any sense.

Chris's roommate...I think you're another Sam, so I'll call you Other Sam, I promise Jareth is a nice dog. He's papertrained and everything!! And he's super friendly...well, they all are, but that's not the point.

Um...well, since there was a curse today, I'm going to assume there won't be one tomorrow...so would it be all right if I came in for my interview sometime tomorrow afternoon? If it's too busy down there, though, I can do another day...just thought it'd be safe to say tomorrow won't be too wacky...

Case 113

Haha, yesterday was fun. So much beer...wish I knew what kind it was, exactly, but it was good! And yes, I was careful with how much I drank...balanced it out with pretzels, other snackies, and water.

Thank goodness for bottled water, otherwise I couldn't have gotten the kids something to drink!!

The only downside is that today, I've got a bit of a headache, and a tummyache. I'm gonna blame the tummyache on the various snackies. At least it's not a full hangover.

...I thought about it, and you know what?

I want in on the police force thing. I want to start investigating the paranormal again. The kids are bigger, and...well, I can't mope about Gallahad or any of my other friends being gone forever. Gotta get on the saddle again, and I really miss it. Just gotta balance it with the flowershop and taking care of the remaining kids, Lassie, and Iznagi, that's all. And I think I can do that!!

So, what sort of info can you give me? What do I need to do to get involved once more? Is there a test, and do I need to study for it?

...um...and...well...would you maybe be interested in one of the puppies? I remember you looked after Jareth during one of the curses, and you seemed to do well with him, and I think he liked you, so...

Okay...whoever thought it would be funny to puppynap my kids? Ha ha ha, hilarious.

Only it's not.

Seriously, when I find out which one of you thought it'd be smart to break into my apartment and kidnap Jareth, Little Sam, Zoe, and Calcifer? Yeah, you give them back. NOW.

Or I swear to god, I will fuck you up so badly, you won't be able to recognize yourself in a mirror.

Oh, and if they're hurt? Just say goodbye to walking or sitting properly for a good long time, because I will find you, and I will make you pay.
