Okay, so, that was sort of a weird weekend. I think I'm deadly afraid of bears now...

But that's not important! What IS important is the fact that I got my business cards all made! They're not the fanciest things in the world, but they have my address and all my contact info on them, as well as a brief job description about what do in the wold of paranormal investigating.

However, that part is sort of in really tiny print, so people might not be able to read that. That's what I Get for trying to squeeze too much on one card. Ah well!

I've got a nice bunch of them at the flower shop, and I'm gonna scatter a bunch around the City. And also maybe the Underground.

It worked back home, so hey, it could work here!!

Hey, Euph!

I know we haven't really hung out since the visitor's curse...but, well, I figured since Suzaku just got here, you'd wanna spend some time with him, since he's new and has to get settled, and you two were really close back in your world...

But I was wondering, if you were free to do something sometime soon?

[She reaches across the table to take his hands, giving them each a squeeze.] I don't know what would make me or anyone else happy anymore. But if we... [stop dating]

We'd never stop being friends, right? [She was starting to feel stinging in her eyes, but she tried to hold it back. She was the one hurting him here. She didn't deserve to cry.]

Of course not. We'll always be friends, no matter what happens.

[He gives her a small smile. All in all, he's taking this rather well...but he's good as masking his feelings.]

I want to hug you. [She's glad for how strong he's being for her even if she doesn't feel she deserves it.]

I'd like a hug, if that's okay.

[She gets up and moves over to him, ready to slip her arms around him and hold on tightly.]

[He hugs her back.]

[She's just going to hold on silently for a while before finally speaking. She doesn't pull away to look at him. In fact it's really much easier this way. Her face pressed up against his shoulder.]

So...we're...not together any more?

...you don't want to be, and I know that it's sort of a complicated spot to put you in...

...I want you to be happy, Euphie. And...us not being together will make things easier for you.

Hanna... I'm so sorry. [Holds him tighter.] I thought I could be ready when I... [Called him her boyfriend.]

It's okay, Euphie...things changed fast, that's all.

Do you want me to go? [She doesn't want to leave him, but she wants to do whatever he wants...at least in this.]

...No. We're still friends. You shouldn't have to leave.

[Ignoring the food for now.] Can we just sit together for awhile? [She just wants to curl up with him on the couch even if they don't talk.]

Sure we can.

[She takes him by the hand, pulling back enough for them to walk and leads him to the couch. She sits down first and waits for him so she can just lie against the older boy.] I didn't know what would happen tonight. I didn't know any of this would happen.

It's okay, Euphie. Life is risk, we can't predict what'll happen.

[She feels awful for this, but if she tells him that, he'll just want to comfort her. That's the sort of giving person he is.] Hanna, is there anything I can do?

Nah, I'm okay. I'll be okay.

[She wants that to be true. And it's not so hard to believe in a way. After all, she doesn't see herself as someone so terribly special.] I want you to always be in my life, Hanna. You're always welcome anywhere I am.

[And he smiles at that.]

No, thank you for being so good to me and so understanding.

Hehe, well, I try.

[She kisses his cheek and snuggles closer.] You're one of my closest friends, Hanna.

You're one of mine, Euphie.

[She's just going to stay like this for awhile. She can finish or put away the food later. This seems more important for now.]
