Not gonna lie to you all. I'm bored.

Bored and suspicious. There's been a distinct lack of curses since the end of last month...and I'm very suspicious here.

They're planning something, aren't they...or am I just being paranoid? I dunno. I've been here too long, I think.

Ah well.

I'm gonna go and scrape up some information, see if I can figure out why there's a sudden lull in curses...anybody in?

The Underground has really terrible reception for audio or video. I don't even know if text will work, but it seems like the most plausible communication method.

Somebody should really get on setting up a better signal down here...

So anyway. I guess curiosity got the better of me. I haven't really ever been on a train before, so I decided, hey, it can't hurt to give it a little ride? I mean, it really can't go anywhere...and yeah, I don't know if we're going anywhere or not.

...And now I can't get off. I don't think anybody can, there's somebody...something, stopping us from getting off. And this train...it's just wrong. The ticking stopped. As in, completely stopped, not just quieted down or anything. And it feels...I don't know, like something doesn't want people here.

It's very, VERY weird...

...not to mention what's going on outside the windows. That can't be real. We're Underground and still in the City. That...that's not happening at home. They're okay, they have to be.

This train isn't right. There's something else going on here, and it feels like more than just a curse. Whatever it is, I'm gonna find out what.

If I have any friends still aboveground, would one of them mind taking care of my puppies, dog and sheep until they let us off?

I got some investigating to do.

We've got murders going on here, Hanna. Weird, weird stuff...I'd say this is just the work of a crazy person, but this is the City, that's not possible. So, we start hunting for clues.

First, we need to figure out if there's a timeline and pattern in the deaths...the first body was discovered after the blackout...but then we've got at least one other death that doesn't appear to be linked to the first...at least not in cause.

Time to start poking around. Asking people questions and whatnot.

[ooc: Hanna is in compartment number 4, and this takes place after the discovery of the bodies. Feel free to hack his talking to himself as he begins to poke around and see why people are dropping like flies.]

[For a while, there is nothing on the recording. Some humming, some scribbling noises, but no talking....then, all noise stops.]

...Mom...?

[Hanna's voice is soft, his tone hard to place...a mixture of joy, apprehension...and fear.]

Mom!! Wha...no, I'm ok, where are you? Yes, I'm eating right...yes, I'm staying away from gh--wait, Mom, why can't...No, Mom, don't! Mom, it hurts, what...No!!
Don't leave me again...please...

[His voice becomes increasingly concerned and frantic.]

Mom, don't go...! I'm coming, I won't let anybody hurt you, not this time! Stay where you are, I'm going Underground to get you!

[The recording goes silent as Hanna rushes out of the room.]
