[20 minutes of foot-tapping nervousness later, he realises he can't really think about much else. Even mindlessly playing Tetris and Robot Unicorn Attack (on his laptop; the device is in hiding and the 3DS is in the closet not being used right now because of conflict-y emotion reasons) isn't helping.

Device comes out from under the pillow. He almost responds, but then changes his mind and tosses it aside.]

Look, Neil and I weren't speaking to each other for months, but now we've got everything out in the open, we're just back to how we were before. It may take time, but... He's a good guy. Deep down. He probably doesn't to want to lose your friendship either.
