You may be stronger or tougher than me, you may be more than one person, you may have weird powers on your side. But I swear to you, you will pay.

Nobody, and I mean, NOBODY hurts Gallahad. EVER.

You are going to FUCKING REGRET the day you were born, and every single day after that. I will make fucking sure that you hurt as much as he did.

Hm...that's gotta be part of it. There's a grudge, and it's against a whole group...but why. Get down to that, and we can start to go after who did this.

We could be completely wrong but just judging from what we've seen so far, I think it's a pretty good possibility. Even if we can just get a lead on somebody who dislikes other beings, we might get closer to the culprit.

If we can find a way to protect other possible targets, it may give us a chance to get the person or people behind this. You know, maybe set up some sort of trap.

That's actually not a bad idea at all. If we're careful about setting it up, we just might be able to do it. ...Of course, that's hoping we can find someone willing to be bait. [A pause, then--] Then again, I guess it doesn't matter whether or not anybody volunteers. They'll be targeted anyway--we just have to take advantage of that.

We should try to do something without bait...and if we can't get a proper trap set up without it, I can be bait.

We could also start by talking to possible targets to see if there's a possible pattern...

I just don't want anybody to get hurt like Gallahad did...

I'm sure that would be the ideal situation, but there has to be some convincing motivation to lure out the attacker. And if we mess up the first time, we probably won't get a second chance to surprise him.

That's possible, too. I wonder if there are any other connections between the people who were already victims--besides the nonhuman aspect. The attacker could be someone they've all interacted with...and they were probably all jumped when they were alone in out-of-the-way places, right?

...would it be possible to talk to the victims? I mean, I'm gonna talk to Gallahad once he's better...and he's gonna be ok. He's still in a bad state, but, I'm gonna make sure he's all right.

Maybe. I don't think I've heard anything from them on the network since the incidents, so they might not be able to talk about it yet. But we should see if we can find out something--maybe whoever helped them might have some information, too. Do you know who they were?
