Now, I may not be Canadian, but I hold much respect for the country that gave us mounties and maple sugar candy. Also, they have an awesome flag. I mean, how many other countries could pull of having a leaf on their flag? None, that's who. Canada did it first and best.

So, to all my Canadian hombres out there, Happy Canada Day!

Which brings me to a related topic: The Fourth of July, aka America Day. I haven't done fireworks in forever since I think if I tried to do them at home, I'd blow something up. Or something uncool like that. But fireworks are cool, and they're tradition...

So I wanna do something with fireworks. A fireworks show...except I don't know where to get them. Any ideas? Are they even legal here? Cuz I know back home the legality of fireworks is different from state to state, but here, I don't even know...

Ah well. I'll figure it out!!

...Also, is it just me or is it sort of chilly today...?

You forgot bagged milk. And snow.

At least you're making an effort, I guess? So, uh, thank you.

We have snow! But not as much as you guys...or Russia. But not bagged milk.

I'm sorry if I can't come up with more...

That was supposed to come off sarcastic. I'm just listing stereotypical stuff. I could have said igloos or beavers or colourful money or something. I had a pen pal in America once. He asked me about some pretty weird things.

Anyway, the point is no-one ever talks about the US being the home of, um...I don't know, hot dogs and...alligators.

...Yeah, I guess you're right.

I was trying to think of cool things to say about Canada, but I've never been before. I've wanted to visit, though!!

Well....Toronto has a pretty big tower? And Niagara Falls is ours. The red-suited mounties are pretty...touristy, so I guess they're pretty recognisable as ours but when a guy gets letters asking him how they possibly fight crime when they stand out like that... I'm a bit touchy about mounties, I guess.

I knew Niagara Falls was at least partially in Canada...though I know that part of it is in the US too...

But mounties are cool!! They're cops with more awesome uniforms...superheroes wear really bright outfits all the time and they fight crimes...

...we've got the really big bit.

Mostly they ride around and do displays on horses...

Yeah, you guys do have most of it. We just get the sign saying welcome to Niagara Falls.

Which is pretty cool.

Sorry. You seem like a nice guy. I shouldn't've made such a big deal about it, I guess. There just don't seem to be any other Canadians here.

I guess it is. Mainly I just don't want people thinking we haven't also got regular police.

Well, like I said, I'd love to visit Canada some day when I can afford it. I've heard it's really beautiful up there...

Well, you do have regular police. I mean, we have state troopers but they're not the regular police...
