IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry Christmas, everybody! The sun is shining, the weather is warm, the snow is, sadly, gone for now, but knowing what season it is I'm sure it'll be back...and I have presents for all my friends!

And, and as soon as I can get all the puppies to cooperate and sit still for a minute or 2, I'll be able to get perfect holiday pictures for everybody!

So, yeah, presents for people!! Conrad, your gift is under the Christmas tree. Timothy, so is yours, even though you're still in that state of new and confused and stuff.

Everybody else, I'll be on my way out to drop stuff off with you, then I'm going to the graveyard for a bit. Wanna keep the spirits company for a little while. Then I'm going to enjoy this warm weather properly, I heard there's summer stuff set up on the beach, so I am so going to hang there. Everybody should come.

All right, I'm off to do cheery holiday things!! Merry Christmas to all, and to all, watch what you eat. Fruitcakes are not exactly...good, usually.

[Opens it up carefully and then pulls the little sheep out. She smiles brightly, lookind delighted.] Ooooh, Hanna! He's so cute!

[He grins and hands her a smaller box. This one contains a necklace, made of pink paperclips, with a pendant made of a black paperclip, bent into the shape of a complex protection rune.]

Of course I do. Does he already have a name?

[She takes the second box and unwraps it. Oh, office supplies. How thoughtful. Wait, no. She lifts it up, seeing they are all connected. Is it a wall decoration? Or maybe something from his world? She probably shouldn't ask. He might take it badly.] Thank you, Hanna. It's lovely.

I know you don't like jewelry...and I can't afford anything fancy...but I made a necklace for you anyway...I would have used something better than paperclips, but...

Oh, Hanna, that's so sweet. [And now that she realizes what it is, she slips it over her head, carefully pulling her hair back out to fall over it.] How does it look?

Oh, the er...pendant-y thing is a protection rune. So...this will keep you safe. Or its supposed to, anyway...

That's very thoughtful of you. [Smiles at him.] I like it. [It's not something she'd normally choose or wear, but he made it for her and that makes it special.]

I'm glad. [She smiles at him and leads him to her bedroom. Sitting on the bed is an assortment of stuffed animals: pink rabbit, and two cats. She sets Jayne down next to them.] He looks good there.
