You know, it's sort of nice, seeing all the happy married couples on the network today.

I know it's a curse, or maybe it's not, sometimes it's hard to tell with these things, but...either way, be happy and enjoy it!

As for me, I'm off to go have a beer. Or maybe several. Depends on if its good beer.

Yeah, I have a lot of catching up to do. I need a good video game refresher course!

I once had a theory that the City was a video game we got stuck in, like Captain N, but...I don't think that's right.

They...they're a weird bunch. We're all sort of odd misfits, but that's why we work.

And yeah, we don't all get along all the time but, they're like my family...

Yeah, my friends and I were like that, too. [A sad smile.] I... I wonder if we'll ever get to see them again.

You will. People come and go, and even if you're here a while, you'll see them again.

I keep...please don't laugh, but I keep a diary filled with letters to my friends. So they know everything that's happened while I've been here, if they ever get here.

Conrad is, simply put, the most neurotic vampire you will ever meet. The vampire part, that's my fault yeah, but he's MEGA neurotic. It's sort of funny, actually.

EVERYTHING wigs him our or pisses him off. In fact, I had a chart in my head of how many times he actually smiled...it was at like...4 or 5 when I last saw him.

Err...They sort of all are.

Except for Worth. But he's my doctor, and he's also a big friggen grumpus. Oh, and Lamont is normal too...well, he's skeezy, but he's that nice kind of skeezy. I like em both, but they're realy nutjobs.

Apart from them, though, yeah, everybody I'm close with is not exactly human.

Also, I have totally met vampires who act just like that look you're pulling off right now.

Aw, it's not that cool...

Werewolves? Yes, that's Toni, she's really cool. Centaurs, no, but I've heard about them. Kitsune, not personally, but I know a guy...they're really only native to Japan. I helped relocate some faeries once...or maybe that was pixies. They look similar.

And zombies? Dude. My best friend in the whole world is a zombie!! And those brain eating stereotypes are just hurtful.

Oh man, I hate stereotypes. People usually have things wrong-- of course zombies only eat brains if they're being controlled to do so. And not all zombies are even under anyone's control, since that's not the only way to be reanimated.

It's just sort of...normal for me. And my life is far from epic. Trust me.

Yeah! I don't really know much about zombies beyond the stereotypes, sadly. Gallahad's the first I've ever met, and he's got amnesia, so...but I guess that doesn't matter. He's still my best friend, and he's a surprisingly good cook.
