[The audio feed clicks on to sniffling and soft hiccuping noises, mixed in with Hanna mumbling to himself. He sounds absolutely miserable, and there's a good reason for that: he is. Some of his first friends from the City are gone, and this, combined with the lack of success he's had finding Trajan's attacker, is finally causing a tiny little breakdown.]

Can't believe they're gone...If it had just been one of them, it wouldn't hurt as bad, but all 3 of them...

[He sniffles again, and it becomes clear that Hanna is crying.]

St-stupid Thomas. Stupid Harry...Stupid Justine, leaving like this...'s not fair...

...cr-crying won't solve anything, stupid Hanna...should've expected this, just keep going...it's what they'd want, I think...

[After a minute or so, Hanna seems to realize the feed is on, and turns off the audio.]

So...Thomas, Harry, and Justine have all left the City. I'm really sorry to all of their friends, and even if they can't hear this, I wish them all the best luck in the world back home.

Slightly unrelated, but!

I don't think I can make it to the shop today.
I have a lot of investigating to do, what with the attacks and everything, and as much as I like the shop and I want to keep it successful and nice like Doumeki made it, I think that trying to protect people can come first...

...Katara, If it's not too much trouble, do you think you could take the shop? Just for today?

I sort of had a hunch and need to get some evidence...and...well, Thomas and I had a talk a couple of days ago, and it just feels right to go after my hunch today, all things considered. Plus, I really think I'll be able to find something, I've got a good feeling about this. Well, as good a feeling as you can get when going after a mythological creature attacker, but you get the point.

I'm real sorry, I know it's sort of short notice...I promise I'll make it up to you. With ice cream! And this won't happen again, I promise! At least not without 2 or 3 days notice ahead.

Hey, Trajan. I was thinking...if you're feeling up to it, you wanna help me follow my hunch today? I've got a real good feeling about this one...

I mean, if you're still not 100%, it's ok, you should focus on getting better...I just don't wanna go it alone today.

I just thought that if I'm right about this one, you might be able to confirm it with firsthand knowledge...plus, you're my partner. It's really weird doing this stuff without you. Like Batman without Robin, but no offense, you'd look terrible in the Robin costume, so I guess that makes you Batman.

Uhh...I think I lost my train of thought. Anyway, lemme know if you're up for investigatin' or if you need another day of rest and relaxation and recovery.

[And on comes the video. Hanna waves to the network for a moment, smiling awkwardly. He seems to be dressed normally...]

And, snap!

[Hanna snaps his fingers, and boom, his clothing is now made of articles colored in plaid. 2 different kinds of unmatching plaid. He snaps his fingers again, and they change to 2 other sets of unmatching plaid.]

So...I think I can do this to other people's clothes too, but I'm sorta afraid to try...I did it to Iznagi earlier and he got all grouchy. Lemme tell you, sheep don't look good in bright pink and orange plaid. Though, I guess not much does...

Hey, Justine? I'm still coming over, just to let you know, but...well, I had an idea.

I figured that I could rent some movies, buy some of that instapopcorn in a bucket stuff they sell at movie stores, get some candy to go into the popcorn...you know, the usual sort of stuff.

And I don't know what movies you like. So...uh...what movies do you like?

Cuz I was thinking Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueler, maybe Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure...stupid stuff like that.

Still, today doesn't feel like a good day. Dunno why. So, I'm going out to explore other parts of the city, take notes...you know, investigate.
