Ugh. Turns out I really suck at scavenger hunts, THANKS City.

[Hanna sighs irritatedly, as he moves around the abandoned streets of LA, looking for gas cans. He talking to himself quietly, because the dead silence is too much for him.]

You would think that gas cans wouldn't be hard to find, but nooo, you throw zombies into the mix and suddenly everything vanishes and becomes rarer than Crystal Pepsi.
Jeez. All I want to do is grab the cans and get out of this place before the crazy zombies show up again...I am so glad that you're not here, Geraldo...with all the crazy zombies coming out of the woodwork, I dunno what people would do seeing you...

[He sighs again, before blinking and stopping his search. He heard something.]

After all this is over, I need to thank Dean for teaching me how to use a gun properly.

[And heere come the zombies. Hanna sighs, before grabbing his hammer and marker and smirking.]

Of course, I'd rather stick with the classics for now.

[And let the carnage begin! The video cuts off as the zombies start to swarm, and as Hanna draws a rune on his hand and starts blasting and smashing.]

[ooc: Open for action too.]

Case 177

Okay. So.

The harpies have started nesting in the City. Naturally, this is a very, very bad thing...not only are they coming from beyond the broken barrier, but now they're actively living here...

We need to get the barrier back up. The deities are...being themselves, and they won't help. So we have to do it ourselves. Once we get the barrier back up, we won't have harpies swarming in here from outside, which means we'll have a set population to deal with.

God, I hope they don't have babies.

PLUS, the sooner we get the barrier back up, fewer people will try to escape. Now, don't get me wrong, I know we all want to leave, but...well, I've heard rumors that leaving now is...really, really bad. Like, murder bad.

...I don't know if there's been any planning or organization to put the barrier back up...but if there is, I want in. If not...well, then we need to do that. I think we can do it through magic, but...well, the spell that I know is really, REALLY tough, and either requires a lot of people or a really strong magic user. Preferably both.

But that's one idea. We need more to work with.
manofgnee: (-Wha--?-)
[Hanna doesn't usually just sit around and do nothing. Especially not lately, with everything that can go wrong going wrong, he's been busy. Trying to keep his various animals from escaping, trying to sleep, trying to ignore the ghost pains in his chest, trying to figure out what the hell is supposed to be happening...

And, then, of course, things get worse.

He's just sitting by the beach, staring out into the sea. He's a bit twitchier than normal, on edge.]

Things have changed. I can feel it, I know it, things are different, we can actually get out...

...I could try to go home. I could actually go home, I could see Gallahad and Worth and Conrad again...

What could have changed? What...and why...and...Wait. What are those.

[He blinks and stands up from where he was sitting as several Harpies fly closer. He immediately goes for his hammer and marker, drawing something out on his hand.]

...Well, shit.
manofgnee: (-Concentration (1000 cranes)-)
[It's late, well into the nighttime, when Hanna drops his communicator in the sands of the beach, accidentally turning it on.

Hanna is sitting by the ocean, sort of staring up at the moon for a bit, not really noticing that the tide is coming in a little bit, getting his feet and pants wet.]

Man, the beach is pretty...I know Jose hates the water, but I bet he'd still love this...

[After sitting and staring up in the sky for a while, Hanna pulls something out of his pocket and begins to work. He's brought paper with him, and is folding some paper cranes.]

Okay...I know I wanted to make a thousand for a wish...but I think that some of them can mean a little more than that.

[After folding 2 cranes, he stops for a second, getting out his marker and writing something on both of them. A closer view shows that they're names: 'Watanuki' and 'Doumeki'.]

One for every person I've ever been friends with here in the City...so even if they've gone, I won't forget them.

[Hanna smiles a bit more, but it seems sad...but of course, he keeps on working, folding cranes and writing names on them, starting with the friends that have already left the City before moving on to friends still here...

He only stops once, to wipe at his eyes and let out a watery laugh. No matter what he may say, the curses from over the weekend are still hurting him deeply.

But he'll never admit it. And after a small crying break, he resumes his folding and writing, making no move to leave the beach any time soon, no matter how dark or late it gets.]

Guess what? I'm feeling a lot better today!

And I found a new magic marker!! Gnee, it's so cool...it's...well...uh...

Well, look at this!

[A video starts, showing off what appear to be some of Hanna's runes...only with legs and comically googly eyes, walking around. The video pans to Hanna, who is in a rather ugly pink shirt, waving around his new marker.]

It makes drawings real! Even my runes, how cool is that?

Well, they can't talk, but still, it's mega awesome.

[As if to prove how awesome it is, Hanna starts another drawing, this one of a penguin in a top hat and spats, which comes to life and starts dancing around.]

Gnee!

[The video cuts off as Hanna starts drawing more things.]

[ooc: New curse! Today, Hanna is affected by the 'Imagination Song' curse, meaning he's got a new magic marker pen thing, and everything he draws is gonna come to life. Everything. Chaos will ensue.]
