Shall I compare thee to a City's day?
Thou art more sweet and more honest:
Harsh curses do shake the blooming hopes of May,
And City's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eyes of deities shine,
And often by their harsh complexion are we dimmed,
And even fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or time's unchanging course untrimmed:
But thy eternal kindness shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as I can breathe, or mine eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

[No, he doesn't know the whole network can hear this. No, he's also not quite sure why he's misquoting Shakespeare. Of course, he's only now realized what just happened...]

...oh, crap.

Seriously? I swear, one of these days I am going to smash this device. I think it wants to humiliate me...

Also, as far as Shakespeare goes, I prefer his plays over his poetry. A Midsummer Night's Dream is great...and also quite accurate at parts. The one time I worked with faeries at home, I actually got to talk to them about it. They find the inaccuracies really funny.

...Shakespeare would probably either really hate this or find this really hilarious. Wish we could talk to him, he seemed like a pretty cool guy.

At the risk of misquoting him and embarrassing myself further, I'm going to shut up now. And maybe hide in my room.

...You know, I think that robots are one of the few things at home I've never gotten a chance to meet. Zombies, yep. Vampires, done. Selkies, fairies, imps, fire salamanders, ghosts...I've done all that.

Robots, though, that's new. I never really counted that as supernatural, though. More like supertechnological. But robots are still cool. It'd be neat to meet one at home...

Okay, and I'm also still a bit grouchy about my puppies getting puppynapped. Though I am glad they're okay...and I guess it got me thinking...They're only about 4 weeks old...but they're also almost 5 weeks old. All my books say that puppies can leave their moms starting at 8 weeks...

...but I guess I'm gonna have a hard time letting go. Is this what being a parent is like? I guess I'm probably not a good parent...

So...if I am gonna have to start letting go, I guess the first step is auditioning new potential parents. One at a time, since I don't wanna spook em too much...though the four that got out during that Hercules curse might be okay. I dunno.

Case 14

...I feel really funny today...I can't put my finger on it, but something is really, really off today.

...Er...I smell sort of funny.

Are we out of deodorant or something? We're a houseful of guys...

....oh wow, I think I just answered my own question there. Whoops.

Sorry, Doumeki, but I'm...well...feeling too weird and not exactly 100% for some reason. Probably curse related reason.

Soooo...I might be late to work. Just a little bit. Until I get the smell thing under control.

...Please don't let this just be me.

[PRIVATE TO {...} // UNHACKABLE]

You're settling in ok, right, Aslan? I know it's a lot of new, strange stuff...but that's what we sort of live on, right?

...today is what we call a curse day. It's a weirder than normal day, so something very...off is gonna happen to us.

On that same line of thought, are you feeling ok? I...well, feel kinda funny. Besides just the smelling thing, which, by the way, is REALLY awkward.

Feel kinda hot...dunno why.

What about you?

[ooc: Cursed. Very cursed, but it hasn't totally hit him yet.]
